Quality management in scientific publications

The article deals with the importance of the quality control of scientific publications. The goals and the means are the same, regardless to the form of the publication: written, oral or pictorial. The levels of control are established to be the author, the editor (referee) and the reader. Criticism is the way leading to the solid scientfic quality. The general demands concerning the publications are originality, informativeness, public interest and novelty.
