The first part of our study is an attempt to analyze Andras Zey’s medicinal book, that was published in 1744. Furthermore, the origins of this book and its traces in different libraries are presented. In the case of 14 of the overall 30 medicines referred to in the book, we present recommendations and updated phytotherapeutic implications.
