We present the case of a 36 years old young woman, who presented at our department with severe sight loss of the right eye. After an exhausting ophthalmological and complementary examination we diagnosed choroidal malignant melanoma of the right eye. The patient was sent to an institute with ophthalmological oncology, where transpupilar thermotherapy was applied three times. After the treatment the state of our patient is stable and satisfactory. The dimensions of the tumor have been reduced and now it is inactive. The formation has to be monitored and in case of relapse brachytherapy is indicated with ruthenium 106 application.
