Written by Ábrám Zoltán

In memory of the man who was professor of medical genetics with a remarkable contribution to the science of preventing fetal malformations, actively involved in popularizing science, involved in project planning and family counseling, an avid reader of the scientific production of geniuses, who passed away one year ago. His rich and multidisciplinary work has opened up new directions and approaches in science. His professional career, in its entirety, represents a very special model by the messages he left behind, because the life of Czeizel Endre – along with contradictions ¬– was spun off from usual patterns. He left behind several works to be read and dilemmas open to debate.
